The Micro Jib is the world's smallest camera crane that serves as a tabletop "universal" tripod solution for content creators, streamers or even professionals as it is capable of mounting a wide range of accesories such as smartphones, DSLR and compact mirrorless systems, microphones, Light panels, or even a tablet as long as the component weight is less than 2kilograms.

Important Note
This is not a 100% fully printable assembly, screws, nuts and pins and bearings will be required to be purchased separately to fasten parts together. The complete list of addtional parts to be purchased along with links can be found in the detailed assembly guide link here
This Jib is heavily inspired by Ivan Mirada's build of his gigantic crane (check out his youtube channel for more details). Being a novice content creator, I found it extremely time comsuming to constantly adjust the tripod's height, angle and position to get shots from various angles. While there are some commercialy available solutions out there, they are way too bulky for my tiny space and hence I've decided to design my own!

The largest single part that needs to fit your buildplate can be downloaded here for testing.
Some of the key printing details:
1) Recommended nozzle diameter - 0.6mm. This is a large print and swithing to 0.6mm nozzle with 0.3mm layer height will reduce print time significantly.
2) Recommended material is PETG but PLA works as well for most of the parts. more details can be found in the guide.

Hi, I finished the Micro Jib over the holidays! Thanks to Dan for the perfect design and engineering. Very sophisticated and well constructed.Before, I built the Mini Mechanica, Mini Mechanica 2 and stepped to Tourbillion Mechanica! Next challenge will be the Tri Axial ;-)
