White Angels Miniatures produces some of the best looking elves and monsters and I wanted this sculpt as soon as I saw it. I was looking for a Merwyrm Proxy for my High Elf Realms army in The Old World. The Merwyrm provided by GW is a detailed sculpt, but I was looking for something a bit less monstrous, more noble, and that matches the sea dragons on the shields of my warriors. This hit the mark perfectly. The print and cleanup was around 10 hours, and I painted the sea dragon during a particularly long RPG session - about 5 hours or so between my turns and some RP. The color scheme is looking to match the Blue/White/Silver of the High Elves.
