Description
The Altar G of Copan, feature the date August 19 AD 800. Depicts a double-headed serpent with legs; skeletal snake with the God K'awiil emerging on the west side and fleshed snake with a Pawahtun (another God) emerging on the east side. Erected by Yax Pasah.
