Dracolich! Printed on ELEEGO Mars2Pro. Posted this on insta @bkb_minis first - reposting here This was my first large print on the resin printer. I ended up scaling the model down to 85% as the wings ended up being just a bit too big to fit on/in the print area. This ended up being a special model for the last session of a DM’s dnd campaign. Me and the DM discussed different models before deciding on this one. They wanted something a bit different from the standard very bony dracolich; in the campaign the dragon wasn’t dead for a long time. I was instructed to paint the model as a red dracolich and to do whatever I thought would be best. I ended up providing some art from my mood-board to help them get an idea of the extra details I planned on adding/the theme/vibe I was going for, and after discussion was promptly cleared to add those details. Some of the details I had in mind was: - glowing eyes (initial color ended up being approved) - adding a dark purple (initially considered a black until the glowing eyes were approved) to the ends of the wings + feet/legs (this helped tie the glowing mouth/eyes with the rest of the model) - incorporating the greenish/decaying flesh tone with the pink/red more fresh fleshy bits.
