Description
Approximately 800,000 women served in the Soviet Armed Forces in the Second World War.
This set represents female Soviet Soldiers in the second half of the war. They wear M43 blouses and the decorations typical of a resurgent Red Army from 1943 onwards. Heads wear SSh-40 helmets, pilotka side caps, and the female only beret. Plash-palatkas rain capes provide protection from the environment. They carry typical small arms of the mid-late Soviet Army including M91/30 Mosin rifles, PPSh-41 and PPS-43 submachine guns, and the DP-28 light machine gun. An aid bag and dressing is also included.
