Happy Friday,

As an artist it's super important that I choose models that I am excited to work on, and with this model I found myself jumping out of bed to start designing ...right after coffee of course. 😉

This one is dedicated to the BEST coder I have work with, that also happens to have a side hustle rescuing bees that have become a "nuisance". Instead of exterminating them, he re-homes them! And as a very cool reward, lots of honey for his homemade Meade. :)

For those unfamiliar with the Butterfly or Dragonfly models, while popping in the wings , make sure you have the ridge of the wing lined up correctly with the notch in the body before you press it in place. This is designed to give you a guideline to avoid pushing too hard AND to keep the wings from spinning in circles!

Print tips and Info:

STL and 3MF files are included. * If you use the 3mf file, please remember that it is a painted project file for your convenience. You must check your material/printer/settings to make sure it works correctly for your printing project.
I print with 3 walls, 15% infill/gyroid, .12 or .16 layer height for quality.
Gradient PLA works well with this Print-in-place model
