I have been wanting to make a non-skeli snake for some time and the King Cobra was a fun first! I knew the head needed to be upright to display that big beautiful hood hahaha. But I was also able to give it an opening mouth and tongue or no tongue options for the jaw. I added a long and short version ( short can be printed much larger). I really like the single color gradients for this design... but the 3mf is provided, and gives you options for extra detail.
Included in Download:
- Short and long versions of the body
- 3MF Project Files for your Convenience (check your settings and materials BEFORE you print)
- Jaw includes NO TONGUE version and jaw WITH tongue version

Like with all my Flexi's, I went through many iterations to make sure it was strong, and easy to print without supports.

- You may see a warning about the long snake having over 1 million polys. Please be patient with the slice and DO NOT simplify.
- STL and 3MF files are included. * If you use the 3mf file, please remember that it is a painted project file for your convenience. You must check your material/printer/settings to make sure it works correctly for your printing project.
- I print with .12 or .16 layer height for quality.
- As usual, make sure you have good adhesion, especially for the mini versions. A glue stick works or I have switched to using on all my machines... a BIQU Cryopgrip Frostbite adhesion plate.
- I successfully test printed between 50% and 180% for this design.
- Gradient PLA works well with this model

Printed with Ziro “Volcano” matte filament. Used negative object to allow for glass eyes. One color so no filament waste - Two complete snakes on one build plate.
