The Greater Good Widows of Vengeance Squad are former battlesuit pilots whose war-engines were annihilated in combat. To them, the suit was not merely armor or weapon - it was a partner, a sworn union of flesh and machine. When that bond is severed in an instant of catastrophic destruction, the pilot is declared a Widow.

And Widows do not retreat.

Thrown into a violent combat trance by the sudden rupture of neural interfaces, these warriors lose all sense of fear, pain, and self-preservation. For the remainder of the battle, they fight on foot with terrifying focus, driven by vengeance for their fallen machine. Precision gives way to fury. Doctrine bends to instinct. Survival is optional - retribution is not.

If a Widow survives the engagement, her fate changes once more. Back at base, she is granted a new battlesuit and undergoes a ceremonial rebonding, formally joining her consciousness to a fresh war-engine. The cycle continues. Union. War. Loss. Vengeance.
