Description
These side weapon variants are one of the milestones in our starship campaign Odyssey.
They are suitable for use with 28-32mm miniatures and they are compatible with other 2nd Dynasty starships in the Chimera family, that is the Pathfinder, the Cerberus, the Pegasus, the Ataphoi, the Odyssey and of course the Chimera.
Compatible with the OpenLOCK system created by and available at Printable Scenery.

Inspired by Bumyong Kim over at his GamingGeek Youtube Channel and his 115% scale build of the Cerberus with an extended hull, I am working on a similar build scaled for 32mm miniatures. As one of several of customizations, I am using the lower deck of the hull extension as a weapons bay to mount a Side Mounted Missile Battery to port and starboard. Noticing how the doors on the mount want to fall by gravity into a slightly open condition, I opted to modify the missile cassette front plate and the inside face of the left door to each accept a 3mm diameter by 3mm long rare earth magnet. So now the doors stay nicely closed unless opened to display the missiles. Printed on a Bambu P1S (unfortunately the P1S is not a provided option in MyMiniFactory, hence it showing an X1 Carbon) at 0.12mm layer height and eSun PLA+ Gray filament
