Thor (1829), made by H.E. Freund (1786-1840), marble, Nye Carlsberg Glyptotek (Copenhagen, Denmark). Made with Memento Beta (now Remake) from Autodesk.
In Norse mythology, Thor is a hammer-wielding god associated with thunder, lightning, storms, oak trees, strength, the protection of mankind, and also hallowing and fertility.
I scaled this model down to a height of 100mm for ease of printing and it printed beautifully! The amazing details of this model would be better defined if printed at a layer of 0.1mm instead of the 0.2mm I used. I recommend printing this model upright with supports EVERYWHERE for best results. I printed @ dimensions 119mm x 88mm x 100mm print time : 9hrs 33m original dimensions are 184mm x 137mm x 163mm print time : 25hrs 46m
