Description
A vase inspired by the delicate and graceful curves of a twisted stem rose, it traces the shape of a rose bud when viewed from above. Scalable - the model prints without support scaled anywhere from 50% to 200%. At the supplied scale is should easily accommodate up to dozen clipped rose stems, and two dozen unclipped at the 200% scale.
Print at 0.2mm layer, 5% in-fill, no support. For a heaver vase, use more in-fill.
Printing Details
Recommended to print at a larger scale unless holding small flowers.

Printed here with S3D in vase mode at 0.2 mm using transparent PLA. Vase mode means the walls are traced using a single perimeter with the Z axis slowly increasing over the entire layer instead of moving in discrete jumps. This results in a beautiful, albeit slightly more delicate of a print. The prints were sprayed with 4 coats of Future floor wax to deepen the luster and make them a little bit more durable.
