A mind flayer living deep below the underworld, he managed to greatly expand his dominion, breaking and feasting on the minds of every creature he encountered.
His nourishment supply was somewhat scarce until one day he found the influx of adventurers increasing. Upon investigating this occurrence, he came into contact with Oreth. They were hostile to each other at first, but Zuok had to strike a bargain when he found that he could not break Oreth’s mind.
And just like this, he began to work, slowly tormenting the minds of the beings lured into the caves, in exchange for his life.
