Hailing from the Second Reverie of Nosmarka’s Abyss, Luxuria is a devil that far differs from many of her lesser kin. Even as a Greater Devil she boasts unique characteristics for the second Reverie, manifesting her hatred of Men in a way that is wholly unique. The form she takes is one intended to seduce and entice them, lulling them into an enamoured state that few recover from. Often she will intercept the summons of succubi, appearing instead to those who have paid a dire price for pleasure. Those that fail to gain their senses and are tricked by her form, meet a gruesome end.
A Greater Devil of the Second Reverie, Luxuria stands high above the power of her succubi and inccubi kin. Her true form is grotesque, and does not retain the appeal of her kin, yet it is in her shapeshifting that her powers truly shine, able to physically contort herself to the exact ideal form her victims would have her take. It is not an illusion, but a physical metamorphosis, one that most would become lulled by, and devoured.
For Luxuria does not just sap the souls of her victims, but feasts upon their flesh and hearts, utterly consuming them in bid to bolster her own powers. Often she will intercept the calls and summons of succubus, only to appear instead. Her victims believe they may pay a small price for a succubus, but none bargain for the gruesome ends they meet at the hands of Luxuria. Now in Syelden her reign of terror continues, her shapeshifting ability allowing her to easily escape any pursuers.

I’ve just finished work on Luxuria, a hauntingly beautiful sculpt that perfectly captures the dual nature of lust and hatred. This model was a masterclass in organic textures, from the tattered, fleshy membranes of her wings to the smooth, flowing silks of her robes.
