"The Doors of Durin, also known as the West-gate, the West-door of Moria, or Elven Door, were built into the Walls of Moria in the dark cliffs of the Silvertine, and formed the western entrance to the great Dwarven city of Khazad-dûm."
Since there aren't enough Lord of the Rings -printables, I decided to create something and came up with this. The door itself is a thin wall with engravings that lets light through, there's a compartment inside with room for LEDs to light it up. The branches of the trees work as a jewelry holder as well.
I printed one scaled down and one in full scale, the smaller one I painted too.
I only printed mine from white PLA for best lighting effect, I'm unsure how well it works with other colors/materials. Can be scaled but then you have to pay attention to the door that it doesn't become too thin to work, or too thick to have infill screw up the lighting. No supports required.
