Welcome to the IOL Minis library of bases.
This is a catalogue of what I hope will prove to be a useful resource for my fellow hobbyists.
As I was developing new sets of detailed bases for my range, I had to go back and make some thoroughly designed bases to work from. In the process of doing that, I decided it would be a nice thing to establish a living repository of all types of wargaming bases to share with the community.
To begin with, I have designed a set of round and oval bases with sizes suitable for the more commonly played wargames. I will continue to add to this library periodically with more base sizes, shapes and types. If you have requests for additional sizes and designs of bases, feel free to leave a comment :)
The bases included come in solid versions, inset versions, and hollow/ magnetized versions. The hollow bases are cut for 5x2mm magnets.
The bases all have a lighty textured top finish, and I have placed supports on this surface so it hides any marks from the supports and ensures a clean, plain finish to the bottom edge of the bases. The textured surface is flat enough that the bases can be printed with that side down on the build plate, if you wish to print them without supports, or want to print the hollowed bases on an FDM printer.
I was originally intending to offer these as a free resource to the community, but as the project has proven very labor intensive, I am asking for a symbolic tip of 1$ for access to the files. Which I hope everyone feels is a fair price ;)

UPDATE: 27/01/2025 Added a set of round bases with a shallow inset on top, and room for magnets on the underside. Also tweaked the Hex bases, which apparently had some sizing inconsistencies.
UPDATE 09/01/2025: Added a set of simple 2mm flat round bases, with and without insets, for flat profile basing. Note that these don´t come presupported for resin printing, as they are really only suitable for FDM printing due to the slim profiles. Also added a set of Heptagon bases in the Hollow/ solid/ inset formats.
UPDATE 28/09/24: Added a set of 30- to 50mm bevelled ( lipped) bases to the set.
UPDATE 19/10/23: Added a couple more bases to the square set ( 75x75mm, 80x80mm, 100x100mm) plus a set of hex bases ( 20mm - 50mm).
UPDATE 10/05/23: Wave 1 of square and rectangular bases have been added. More sizes are being worked on, and will be added as soon as they are ready.
UPDATE 08/01/23: Added 30x30mm, 25x30mm and 30x60mm bases to the square bases set.

Presupported files included for ease of printing. All my models are tested on my own printers before uploading, but I do encourage you to review the files prior to printing and make adjustments if appropriate for your printer settings and materials.
