A 240 piece 3D puzzle of our planet based on real elevation data, land and sea floor (exaggerated and compressed for artistic effect).

Models: pre-arranged on 4 standard sized build plates (195x195mm). Fits any 200x200mm build plate, even with a brim.
Each piece prints with it's number on the back to help with assembly in case you get stuck.
A lot of fun to put together and quite challenging without the use of the cheat sheet.
You'll get the most stunning effect by painting the land masses a different color.

In order to successfully print this model your printer needs to be tuned to produce accurate dimensions and retract reliably without too much oozing.
Before you decide to get the full model I recommend to download the four test pieces, print them out and test the fit. Use them to tune your settings until the pieces interlock with a nice friction fit.
Puzzle calibration pieces
Having said that, I printed mine on an Ender 3 with little tweaks without problems.
One last note about resin prints
A lot of resins shrink quite a bit after the print.. A 2% shrinkage is not unheard of. This isn't great for the puzzle pieces and will produce a very loose fit. Definitely worth testing with the calibration pieces. Your results may vary, let me know.

What a fantastic project this has been. I have thoroughly enjoyed every second of it. It's printed in blue for the oceans but I do still need to try and paint the land masses. The pieces fit together perfectly but I have left them a little proud to make it easier to dismantle. It's a gift for my jigsaw puzzle mad son and daughter in law so I need to get it apart without damage. Thanks for this file, I love it and I'm sure they will too.
