Kalap Alatt (eng. Under the Hat?) is a bronze bench sculpture depicting a seated girl wearing a large hat looking thoughtfully into the river which the piece faces (Koranyi Alley). The work was made by Hungarian sculptor Andras Lapis in in the early seventies which is on permanent display in the Parisian Institute of Hungary. This cast from 1992 is a huge attraction for the residents and tourists of Szeged.
