Sanctioned by the authorities on Earth, standard equipment and weaponry was common amongst the Lost Legion before they fell from grace.
This upgrade pack was designed to be combined with my Cinis Prototype Armour, but is also compatible with a variety of kits by other brands. It contains:
- 5 arm poses with standard guns and another 5 equipped with bayonets.
- 1 layered pauldron.
- 4 banner options.
- 1 vox back pack.
- 2 arms with a scanner, one holding it and the other tapping its buttons.
- 1 crest designed to make a model stand out as the unit sergeant.
- 3 arms doing signs.
- 1 arm tossing a grenade for variety in the unit.
- 3 arms holding a standard gun with a single hand to combine with the above options, as well as 3 with a gun with bayonet.
- 3 arms with a standard pistol.
- 1 spare gun without a hand.
Both pre-supported .stl files and unsupported .obj files included for each piece, as well as Lychee scenes with all of them.
I printed mine in Anycubic's gray ABS-like V2 resin (water-wash) on a Saturn 3 with 0.04mm layer height, 2.4 exposure time, 6>7 lift distance, 45>100 lift speed, 180>65 retract speed and 0,5 wait after lift. There were 4 burn in layers with 25 exposure time and 6 transition layers. However, these values can change significantly between printers and resins, so trust your own experience.
I test printed all the bits available (including those not shown in the example unit in the pictures) to make sure all the pre-supported files worked. Everything should be quite straight-forward, but there are some quite small pieces (the crest specially) that can be a bit fiddly. The only exceptions are the 4 vexillas which, specially the two with a skeleton, are very fragile before curing, and I recommend being extra careful when removing the supports since they are prone to snapping. I got the best results cutting them away in chunks with my precision cutters, but I destroyed a couple of them before getting the workflow right (so potentially print some spares).
