From the Exocarne Forges on OSSA IX, Libra Priests constructed the Doom Lord Incarnates. These are imbued with the most noble of Kav’zul and lead the armies of The Fleshbound Legion. Armed with brutal weaponry like the Kav hammer, kav axe, kav fist or the vitrex pistol, these demon lords are absolutely chaotic. Their Exocarne, a rotting suit of meat, bone, gas hose and metal, attracts demonic vultures. They pick at the bones of the Fleshbound, eager for the brutal death that follows in their wake.
You can use the Doom Lord Incarnate to lead your Fleshbound army. This model comes with 4 weapon options which can be mirrored if desired and used on either side of the body. The Doom Lord comes with 3 head options and 2 shoulder horns (with/without vulture) and a 40mm scenic base.
There will soon be detailed lore that you can read, but for now, here’s a summary of the origin of The Fleshbound Legion:
In the aeons before time, a wound was torn in the veil between the material and the immaterial universes. Through it pressed a race of demons. Without form, their souls scattering like smoke on the wind. They could not exist in the material universe, not as they were. So, from the mistic ore of the veil, they wrought the Kav’zul. Metallic orbs, each imbued with the fragments of their soul-code. Such were the Kav’zul—sealed hearts of the immaterial, bound now to enter and endure the material universe.
When the Kav’zul fell through the veil, the event was cataclysm. They scattered across the stars, lost and buried, until chance uncoverings birthed terror and worship. Mortal cults formed around them, and from these arose the Libra Priests—sages, heretics, engineers of dark intent. They communed with the Kav’zul, learned their hungers, and so built forges on the cursed world of OSSA IX.
From those forges came the Exocarne—grotesque biomechanical vessels of bone and sinew, threaded with gas-choked hoses, sanctified metals and sub-organic matter. Into the Exocarne’s chest the Kav’zul are set, and with their soul-code they awaken. Thus the formless took flesh, and thus were born the Fleshbound. The Libra Priests shaped horrors without number: battalions of Harrowers armed with symbiotic weapons such as the Hellmaw Carbine, Vitrex Rifle, and Fleshbore Launcher. Hulking war-forms and abominable engines followed, living warmachines akin to tanks and walkers. At their head, the Priests fashioned the Doom Lords, to marshal the Fleshbound across the stars in their eternal hunt for their scattered Kav’zul brothers—and the awakening of their eight Primes.
