The adorable Sugar Glider design is mostly printed in place, The head is snap-fitted with the body!
I had a blast creating this adorable little guy, and I hope you enjoy printing it 😍 as much as I did making it. Let me know what you think in the comments! I've included magnets, keychains, and a pre-painted 3MF for Bambu Studio to make things easier for you. Feel free to get creative and change up the colors or patterns to suit your style.
Just a heads-up—based on my experience, I'd avoid using translucent filaments. I used white Creality hyper filament and noticed some color bleed on the forehead. I've optimized the design, but I still recommend steering clear of translucent filaments like hyper PLA.
You are good to go with regular PLA+ Filaments
Below are the recommended settings:
No need for supports!
Aim for a layer height between 0.16mm to 0.18mm
Stick to 2 walls
Bottom layers: 4
Top layers: 6
Shoot for a 15% infill (Gyroid or Cross Hatch)
Downscale from 100% to 80%
Precision settings: Slice gap closing radius - 0.006, Resolution - 0.006 (This helps avoid weird artifacts near the eyeball while printing in multicolor)
