Dear backers,

As so many of you have asked, I've designed a piece box for the sets. It is nothing too fancy, but I guess it matches the sets very well and works fine. I've added sockets for 5mm magnets and I've used the OpenLOCK system for this piece to be held together. The whole thing prints supportless. It's no good for using with the cubic chess set, though, and I may develop a box especially for that in the future if feedback for this one is good.

I've had good experiences with this system recently and thought it would be a good idea to implement it here and maybe for future projects as well.

The largest build size you will need for this box is 20.4cm for the length of the largest lid.

UPDATE 26/08/24:

I've added mounting instructions and a readme for the package, and also sorted the files in a better folder disposition.

UPDATE 25/05/23:

I've added an update version of the lids. Some adjustments were made on the socket locations for a better outcome!

UPDATE 13/05/23:

I've added versions with flattened texture bases as the original ones would not lead to the best result in FDM printing, as some users reported. These files will be tagged with "flattextures" in the end of the filename.

UPDATE 21/05/25:
I've added a version of the piece box with flat bases for the piece slots. This should result in more aesthetically pleasing prints in filament printers, as the original files' light slope leads to those 'layer steps' that not everyone is fond of.
