I really enjoyed painting these. Printing and assembling them was a little tricky due to the smaller hands and the really long legs but I’m mostly happy with how they came out. You’ll noticed that I gave the green one a little too wide a stance. She didn’t really fit on the base but, oh well. As for the sculpt itself, I really like it. All the hard, rigid carapace just emphasized the soft squishiness of her uh…”webspinners.” I also found that it was really easy to mix and match some of the weapons from other kits to get the variety I wanted and oh boy did this kit allow for some variety. Just mirror the body, use a different head, and even shrink down one of the spider weapons to fit it in her hands. Definitely the best monster gal kit in terms of customization. Also, painting them with Contrasts worked wonders. There’s just enough texture on there to make it worth doing and…yeah, I did take inspiration from the Bile Titan in Helldivers 2 for the “vanilla” version.
