Riders of Discord are the manifestation made flesh of those fears. They are a primal representation, and only grow more powerful as those they subjugate become more fearful. Despair, being one of the core tenants of Discord, manifests itself as a cloaked figure wielding an executioner’s axe. Sometimes encountered on foot, it is more commonly seen soaring high above the wastes, sometimes even targeting travellers for sport. When mounted, it sits high upon the back of a great Discordian Peregrinus - a fiend born of the mortal fear of being hunted from above. They attack in tandem, and very rarely are they driven off once they have their sights set upon prey.
This model contains one Rider of Despair and a Discordian Peregrinus, mounted on a 100mm premium base. This package has the model both as supported and unsupported versions.
