Spanish Arquebusiers for 15th and 16th Century Armies

Italian Wars (1494-1559): Spanish Arquebusiers were actively involved in the Italian Wars, a series of conflicts that spanned several decades. They played a pivotal role in battles like the Battle of Ravenna (1512), where their firearm capabilities and precision were essential.
Conquest of the Americas: Spanish Arquebusiers were part of the conquistador expeditions that led to the conquest and colonization of the Americas. Their arquebuses provided both long-range support and close-quarters firepower during campaigns such as Hernán Cortés' conquest of the Aztec Empire (1519-1521).
Tactics and Strategies: Spanish Arquebusiers were renowned for their accuracy and the firepower of their arquebuses, early matchlock firearms.
