This week, at long last, I finished my very first painting project. I sat down with my son at a large table and, under less-than-ideal lighting conditions, we painted two versions of the same miniature: Vampire Master on Steed (Lord) from One Page Rules Vampiric Undead army. I took on the female version, while the young man tackled the male one. Overall, I’m pleased with the result - though, of course, I can spot plenty of flaws. The fabrics still need proper shading and highlights, and the resin mistress will require a new weapon, as the original spear snapped along the way. We worked with Vallejo and Army Painter paints and we used rather mediocre brushes.
