Hello there!

As you may know, for a couple of months we've worked on our line of Swamp Village series, with all sets linked each other, resulting in a large scenery piece, depicting a Swamp Village of sorts - with differently sized huts, watch towers and even crude fences, used to protect the village dwellers from any threat outside.

Started with a rough road map, we've produced each scenery piece from the simplest concepts to final model, each filled with small and characterful detail. Here you may see the starting images, that we have shared with you some time ago. As you can see, some of the sketches are quite straightforward, and at that moment the final models could turn out very different from them.

The first hut that was released was named "Hut under the Fungi" and was mostly inspired by various classical fantasy swamp-dwelling creature housing. The structural construction elements of this building are the roots itself and the chimney is cut down right in the trunk of enormous fungal “tree”.

The next set to see the light of release was called "Huts on Stumps". This type of building seems more reliable in swampy areas since it can provide your weapons and belongings from surrounding humidity.

New huts were more complex, both being detachable from their platforms, which in turn based on the top of a fungal stump, and could also be used as a watchtower of sorts. Ladders are not merged and comes separately, which simplifies transportation and storage, and also allows some variety during assembly and terrain set-up.

The last, but not least, set contains two biggest scenery pieces in all series - the comfortable Two-Storey Dwelling and solid Watchtower. The new sets are currently part of our Tribes release and will be available for purchase from March 1st.

Both kits are easily build with Two-Storey Dwelling have all of the huts separate, as well as detachable platform, ladders and some small details for comfortable use, while Watchtower comes with separate top platform and ladders.

Platforms in both kits could easily be magnetized to make transportation and storage a bit easier.

As long no Swamp Village in the wild could last long without something to protect its borders, we have added a little crude fence, simply named "Wooden Fences". This little set can be used as small additional bits to any of our larger scenery pieces as well as making a formidable wall to protect your village from intruders!

And not forget, that our Swamp Village series are fully compatible with almost every previously released Fungi Forest sets, as well as any small bits and sets, related to the theme. Also, we have made a "Swamp Bundle" with a good discount, which contains some of the first releases from Swamp Village as well as some Fungal trees and a swamp scenery itself!

Thus, the Swamp Village series comes to its finish, at least at the time we writing this article, but never say never and there could be some sweet additions to this sets in the future!
