It's been a while since I uploaded something so I thought I'd share what I have been working on.

I have been learning how to work in the form workspace of fusion 360. This will allow me to make more complex shapes with compound curves.

Meaning I can make things such as helmets! The helmet you see here is one from Path of Exile and This was my 4th attempt at making something that looks like the actual thing.

So why have I not uploaded it yet so you can print it yourself?

Well I intend to make it wearable so I have to put in some hinges so the helmet can open up and make sure everything fits. Then I also have to split it into pieces so it can fit on my printer.

I was thinking of posting a simplified version that's meant to be printed at a smaller scale ( this would also require a bit of work because the shell is too thin at certain spots to print well at that scale).

The other thing I have been working on is a trigger mechanism for cosplay guns.

I have made one functioning trigger mechanism in the past for my sci-fi revolver

But the problem with that was it required:

Scews, springs, sanding, glue. And It was also designed specifically for that revolver. What I want from this new mechanism is that It doesn't require any non-printed parts and will fit into any prop ( not just mine ).

This is what I have come up with so far. It kind of does what I want it to do but it needs a lot of tweaking still.

The idea is that you attatch the trigger to the big yellow shape. So when you pull back on the trigger it will rotate the blue gear 1 notch. The small yellow bar will provide some resistance and a satisfying click. The spring will then push the trigger back into it's resting position.

At the moment it doesn't quite have the amount of movement I would like yet but the information on compliant mechanisms is a bit harder to find than I would like.
